Lego Dimensions: Your Mission should you choose to accept it
|The addition of the Mission Impossible universe seemed unrelated to other Lego Dimensions, but that is the point.
The game brings together seemingly unrelated worlds perfectly.
My husband and I have been playing and replaying the same levels again and again and have nearly all the gold bricks unlocked, so this was the perfect time to start playing a new level with new characters.
Ethan Hunt, top IMF agent, is disguised to enter the embassy party unnoticed. His friends follow behind him. It is perfectly told and played with the plot of the first movie. Throughout the level Ethan needs to change disguises to continue through the party and access the necessary areas.
A clever fuse-based mini game allows him to unlock doors. It took me a few tries on the first fuse mini game before I got all the twists and turns figured out, but overall it is pretty simple.
There is a lot of fighting to be had and twists and turns to save the lives of all the agents.
We initially decided to wait to purchase Harry Potter until the Level Pack is out, but the designers of this game are perfect. Of course, now I need to have the abilities from Harry Potter! Close to the beginning of the MI level there is a door that can only be opened with the parseltongue ability. We need Harry Potter now! Don’t be shocked if we purchase it next weekend. I will want to have the character prior to playing the level again to unlock more minikits.
We still have many hours of fun left in this game!
