Lego Dimensions Adult Addiction

This game was made for us. As avid Doctor Who fans, we were sold even before the game was released. My sister and brother-in-law bought the system for me for my birthday, which was the start of our addiction.

The base system comes with the three main characters, but it was less than a week before we were buying the expansion packs.

I love how my favorite characters can work together to save the world. Sometimes the puzzles are hard to grasp or understand how to solve at first but as we quickly caught on to the interaction between the portal console and the game. As we continued to play more levels it became even more logical.

The game writers include witty comments that make me laugh as new characters join the game.

Weekends are spent replaying levels every time we get a new pack.

The scary part of this addiction is that we seem to “need” every new level pack that comes out, and as adults we have a bit more flexible income, than we did as children. Our fireplace mantel will soon outgrow our new collection.
